The 23rd Annual Buckeye Elite Showcase brings together the nation's top youth baseball talent for five days of premier competition. ## Tournament Rules ### General Rules - All games played under NFHS rules with tournament-specific modifications - Teams must have valid proof of insurance on file - Rosters must be submitted 7 days prior to the tournament ### Game Play - **Pool Play:** 1 hour 45 minute time limit, no new inning after time expires - **Championship Bracket:** 7 innings, no time limit - **Mercy Rule:** 10 runs after 5 innings, 15 runs after 3 innings - **Tie Breaker:** International tie-breaker rule in effect after 7 innings - Home team determined by coin flip in pool play, higher seed in bracket ### Equipment - BBCOR bats required for 14U and above - USA Baseball bats required for 13U and below - Metal cleats permitted for 13U and above ### Player Safety - Pitch count limits enforced per age division - Athletic trainers on-site at all venues - Lightning delay policy: 30 minute wait from last observed lightning
