Game Baseballs
Buckeye Elite will provide four (4) new game baseballs at the start of every game.
Playable baseballs recovered during games will remain at each field and be rotated back into play throughout the day. Teams and spectators are asked to assist with retrieving and returning foul balls whenever possible to help maintain the field's supply.
While Buckeye Elite will make every effort to maintain an adequate supply of game-ready baseballs, the number of baseballs lost or taken out of play can vary significantly by facility and game. Teams should be prepared to supplement with additional game-quality baseballs if the tournament-provided supply becomes depleted during their game.
No Tournament Gate Fees
Buckeye Elite does not charge tournament spectator admission or gate fees.
Parents, family members, and fans can attend games throughout the tournament without purchasing daily or weekend tournament passes. We believe families should be able to watch their players compete without being charged an additional tournament admission fee each day.
Parking or facility-specific charges assessed independently by certain venues, if applicable, are separate and outside the control of Buckeye Elite.
Tournament Format
Teams will compete in pool play before advancing into single-elimination championship brackets.
Tournament schedules, bracket formats, advancement procedures, tiebreakers, time limits, and additional playing rules will be outlined in the official Buckeye Elite Rules & Policies.
Premier Columbus Venues
Buckeye Elite games are played throughout Central Ohio at a combination of premier high school, college, and baseball facilities.
Select championship games are scheduled to be played at Bill Davis Stadium at The Ohio State University, giving teams the opportunity to compete for a Buckeye Elite championship on one of Ohio's premier collegiate baseball stages.
Additional championship and tournament venues will be announced as they are confirmed. All tournament venues are subject to availability and change.
College & Professional Exposure
For more than two decades, the Buckeye Elite Showcase has attracted talented programs, players, college coaches, and professional scouts to Columbus.
More than 100 college coaches and professional scouts have traditionally attended the event, creating exposure opportunities for players during an important part of the summer recruiting calendar.
While Buckeye Elite actively promotes the event to college and professional scouts, attendance by any specific coach, school, organization, or number of scouts is not guaranteed.
